Shabbat is considered
the holiest day of the week, and we are enjoined to
celebrate and sanctify it with gourmet foods, rich wine,
our most beautiful clothes, romantic intimacy, and relaxation.
It is the time for experiencing pleasure and getting
into spirituality by making these acts Divine; in fact,
Shabbat is a taste of Heaven.
Meet beautiful new friends and share in this special
community celebration. Join us as we welcome the Shabbat
Queen with song, ceremony, delicious vegetarian foods
and stimulating discussions.
Everybody is welcome to come with an open mind, questions,
reflections, and your favorite vegan, vegetarian, raw-food
dish and/or wine to a unique and memorable Friday evening
with Zemach Zohar, Dages, and friends.

"I enjoyed
so much celebrating Shabbat with you. It was stimulating
intellectually, spiritually, and sensually. The other
guests were clearly there with open hearts and enlightened
minds. You balanced the formal and informal demands
of the evening beautifully." -
Robert Kole
"Thanks for putting together the Shabbat dinner. It
was quite fortuitous that I walked by and saw the sign
about it. I haven't been to a Shabbat dinner for a very
long time, having found myself somewhat distanced from
things Jewish of late. Your Shabbat experience made
me feel comfortable and made the traditions relevant
to me. Thank you." -
F. W.
"A beautiful Kabbalat Shabbat. Very sweet. I was honored
to be part of it and I look forward to many more." -
Mark Lewis
"A true pleasure welcoming Shabbat with you and friends."
- Daniel Harrison
"Thank you for a wonderful Shabbas. Thank you for your
smiles and affection toward one another and to the community."
- Sonny Greenwald
"I loved the Hebrew songs. Dages and Zemach are very
articulate in expressing their knowledge and have lovely
voices." - Sanjay
"A memorable evening." - Santha
